Our passion drives us, and you can feel this from the kitchen to the bar – and every little interaction in between. We care about every wonderful moment and the experiences our customers have with us, and nothing pleases us more than a happy customer or glowing review. The memories our customers take away are our biggest asset – the feeling they get when they leave and the anticipation when they book again. Our story is their story too.
It all started back in 1996, when Robert Mason and French chef, Sebastien Woeffle started running a Pierre Victoire restaurant on St George’s Quay, which they named ‘Simply French’.
This young pair were full of enthusiasm but little experience of running a restaurant. Robert was only 23, a working class youngster and suddenly he found himself thrust into the world of hospitality. Understanding the business was a huge learning curve. In the early days they were earning very little and doing everything themselves – cooking, cleaning, washing up, front of house.
Since then, QSF has never looked back and is a testament to hard work and belief. Stick to your roots and values, understand your customers and always, without fail, aim higher than you ever thought was possible.
